Steve Bayorgeon | Professional Voice Actor for Commercial & Character

Even though Steve now lives in the Windy City, cheese still flows through his veins. After all, he is an XCheesehead. Growing up in Wisconsin made him a diehard Packer fan and watching WGN on cable as a boy made him a diehard Cub fan. He gets a little choked up listening to Pat Hughes announcing that the longest drought in the history of American sports is over. Steve was thrilled to death when he was drafted by the Green Bay Packers after his junior year at Boise Teachers College. Tragically, he didn't make it through his rookie season after suffering a career ending haircut. After working at WMAD radio in Madison it was time to move to Chicago to do voiceovers. Along with print work and on-camera industrials Steve has had a blast performing voices straight and not so straight for commercial and narration projects. A proud member of SAG-AFTRA his clients include; Pizza Hut, McDonalds, Miller, Sears, Pepsi, Bud Light, Harley Davidson, The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, AT&T, KFC, ULINE and many others. His voice is also heard on games and toys for clients like Learning Resources, VTech and Disney. You may also recognize him for his on-camera work on tv commercials. Plus, it doesn't get much cooler than doing a video for the Onion. Steve also appeared in the movie "In Stranger Company" playing Jesse Metcalfe's father. The movie also stars Danny Trejo, Jaci Velasquez and Jules Wilcox. Steve played Mayor Haggerty in "Rain Beau's End" starring Ed Asner and Sean Young. Never in his wildest dreams did he think he'd wok on network tv. The former Wisconsinite appeared again in season six of Chicago Fire after working on the show's fourth season. The pilot for A.P.B on FOX was another television appearance as a real estate developer. An ongoing place where you will find him is hosting pledge drives for PBS station WTTW Channel 11. From eating cheese and brats to going fishing and watching the Packers play at Lambeau Field...nobody lays on the cheese like Steve!
