In Northern Ireland and Ireland, seven contenders took to the Trowel. Damian O'Neill took second place, but it was Super Trowel veteran Ash Mahoney, back with unfinished business, who claimed the win. 704 bricks down, final score 634. Mahoney made his intentions clear. Next up, Wales. Nine competitors, a mix of rising stars and seasoned hands. Lewis Sampson took second, but it was Wales' own Thomas Edwards who came out on top. 489 bricks laid, scoring 418 after deductions. A proud win on home soil. Then came the North, and the heat turned up. A battle at York College that saw a Super Trowel record equal. Evan Haverfield landed in third, and earned his spot as the competition's wildcard. Jack Sykes edged into second, beating Evan by 42 bricks. But it was a newcomer who stole the spotlight. Josh Oldman stormed the arena. 720 bricks down, final score 653. A statement performance. And finally, the Subby Cup. Ten subcontractors from across the UK sent their best, and the record was smashed. Kristen Thomas of GSQ took second, but Dale Wurtzen of PBS blew the field away. 722 bricks laid, a Super Trowel record, and a final score of 605 after deductions. The message was clear.
